It’s that time of the year again: the latest tax year is about to kick off, bringing with it some changes, risks and new challenges. Sage Pastel is not only committed to ensuring that all your accounting and payroll needs are taken care of, but it’s also dedicated to making important information concerning your small business accessible and understandable.

The annual Payroll Tax Seminar is an informative and interesting seminar held each year, and it provides the ideal space in which to discuss that year’s amended legislation. The 2015 Budget Speech is set to be delivered to parliament by Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene on 25 February at 2pm and the seminar intends to unpack the final changes that will be coming into effect as of 1 March 2015. Various issues from retirement reforms to labour law changes and tax incentives will be tackled and put into layman’s terms, making it easier for everyone to be ready for the 2015 tax year. Payroll expert Rob Cooper will lead the way as he attempts to explain what the future holds for the coming year.

Seminars will be taking place across the country between 2 March and 1 April – find the full schedule here. The price of the seminar is R2,217 (including VAT). Registration will take place between 08h30 and 09h00 on your chosen date, with the seminar itself being held between 09h00 and 12h30.

Tickets are still available so if you haven’t got yours yet, be sure to do so and secure your spot at the most important event on your payroll calendar.
